As I sit in my meditation chamber, communing with my master. I hear the whispers of the foul ones. I must obey…

The pain is killing me, I can’t bare to stand it any longer. I beg for a cease, or respite, there is none. I beg for release, yet hear I am. My flesh it burns with infection, so much so I can not get out of bed. In the darkness of night I hear a voice, “Release your soul to me, I will make it all better, but you must pay my pricessss..” I scream in the night, “Whatever your price, be you demon, or devil I will pay it willingly just make it so I feel no more pain!”

The next morning I awaken reflesh where the infection was a bit of discoloration, and redness, but the pain is all gone. I dress and go about my business.

6 months later…

A lesion shows up on my leg, and it is oozing some sort of pus mixed with blood, it’s odd because there isn’t any pain associated with it. As the days progress more lesions appear.  I go to the doctor, they wrap them up, but they are baffled and can do nothing for me. I sequester myself away from everyone.

Days pass and I find my condition getting worse, yet I feel no effects from it. No pain, no fever, if anything I feel stronger. At night I have horrible dreams of decay, plague, and death. I also hear voices, calling to me, I think I finally have lost my sanity.

Then one night I hear the voice I heard that awful night, “It’sss time to pay my price, you are my servant for evermore. The Servant of Corruption, and Defilement. You will go out and sew the seeds of my forthcoming, and corrupt men’s flesh, and soulssss.”

I am huddled on the floor by the awesome power of this entity, “What do you want me to do oh master, you have made my flesh hideous.”

My Master replies, “My marks of favor are easily hidden by clothingsss”

I whimper, “So you want me to go out, and spread disease and plague where ever I go…but how?”

The Master laughs, “You are already are a vessel of my favors, you carry death with you always, but in their suffering they will come to me, and I will show them love.”

I plead, “By what name shall I call you?”

The Master says, “I go by many names….but you may call me Nurgle
