A little peeved.
I never had a problem running WAR, with an occasional Crash to Desktop, and the occasional Fortress Lag. To me that acceptable, not happy about it when it happens, but acceptable.
Well Patch 1.2 hits, and at times my WAR turns into a veritable slideshow, even with my graphics turned down. It happened 2 days ago, and I thought it was just lag or something, I was on my Witch Hunter, and I didn’t really care. . Yesterday trying to fight the Butcher in Lost Vale for the first time, it was damn near enough to delete WAR I was so mad. I can accept the overpowered Bright Wizards blasting me to kingdom come, but I can’t accept this.
It seems I’m not the only once having this problem, Mythic needs to fix their game.

seriously… we aborted a lost vale run after people were continually crashing (not a CTD, just a lock-up). It was terrible around the butcher area of LV. Very frustrating 😦

my game is rubbish now too. 5 fps or so when, before 1.1, i had 40 some

I’m on Iron Rock and I think my utter coolness is causing you problems. I apologize sincerly. But there is little I can do about it.
Seriously, I have heard quite a number of other people complaining about this. I wonder if this is just happening in T-4? Or are people in other tiers having this problem?
I assumed they had changed the graphics to adjust to large scale battles by toning down your sound and spell effects during heavy keep seiges/defence. I wonder if this change is what’s causing the problem. IDK (maybe it wasn’t a change after all but was, in fact, my processor holding on for dear life in an attempt not to crash. My crazy processor can be quite savy at times.)

No in lower tiers of my Witch Hunter there was a slowdown to, but I paid it not as much mind…well cause I didn’t right care as much.

Have you uninstalled all of your Addons (if any). I was having SEVRE lock-ups, CTDs and other problems until I axed them all. I’ve been going through and adding them back, one by one, to try to determine who the culprit is. As it stands, auto-dismount and my beloved WAAAGH Bar (Screw you SNT, you’re ugly) do not want to cooperate.

I don’t use addons for that precise reason. I’ve been mod free ever since I was hacked back in the WoW days…well I use Omen and Deadly Boss Mods for raiding in WoW thats pushing it though.

i thought of that as well, deleted my ‘user’ ‘cache’ and ‘interface’ folders so the game would reset fully to defaults. I locked up less but still locked up.

I have been having the same problem. I play on Iron Rock, and the lag lately has been making the game nearly unplayable. At first I thought it was that my computer is a piece of crap (which it is, but that’s moot once my tax return comes in), then my husband who is running Super Gaming Computer Deluxe 9000 started complaining about the same thing. The server has been crashing regularly during oRvR, and not really even during huge battles. 2-3 WB vs 2-3 WB should NOT crash a whole server.

My frame rate dropped significantly after the patch. I updated my Nvidia drivers and it got better but still not as good as before the patch.
The twisting tower sc was almost unplayable for me even after updating my drivers =(

Strange, but my FPS is the same as before. I am on ATi
